If you have read many of my posts you realize that I love riding my electric bike! Adore it, but it is summer time in Florida and the rain, and thunderstorms have kept me as of late, car pooling when I have to go out, or sceduling my trips to keep my gas admissions down. 

However, I have had one sad side effect from not getting out on my bike as much….weight gain….yes, you just don’t realize how much energy you are expending or choosing to expend when you are running out and about on your electric bike. 

So, It got me thinking that maybe I should look into a fitness bike for when I can’t get out and about because of the weather. Boy its there a lot to know, and other factors on how much to spend….

So, here’s a quick run down on some features if you decide you need to stay active if the weather keeps you from riding your electric bicycle.

 Considerations When Buying an Exercise Bike

One of the most popular fitness exercise machines is the exercise bike but purchasing one is not as simple as going to the mall and choosing one. There are lots of things to consider before you do this. You may want to consider not only the outlay, type of bike, whether you prefer an upright or recumbent exercise bike, and how comfortable and simple it is to adjust.
