Points on Permit for Littering

For a vast amount of time people have been chucking litter out of their vehicles, whether its a crisp packet or apple core the roads have been littered for years. Statistics have actually shown that just under a million bags of rusbbish are collected from the UK roads on a daily basis.

But things could soon be changing as campaigners are now protesting that people that chuck litter on the roads could be facing points on their licence and I honestly think that this is the right call of action to take.

Have you ever been driving on the motorway when the vehicle infront of you suddenly releases a huge amount of litter. Not only will this end up hurting the planet, but it will also cause a huge amount of danger on the roads. suppose you were driving a long at 70mph and abruptly an apple core or something else hits your windshield. That windscreen will probably end up smashing on you.

So what is in all likelihood to happen is that you are going to lose control of the car and have a big accident. I actually think that points combined with a fine will help eliminate this. Members of the public are being asked to report incidents of people throwing litter from vehicles to the Keep Britain Tidy website to help analyse where and when it is happening.

By the end of the whole year if there is enough people complaining then we could see a new law come into action. there is literally no rationality as to why people are throwing out their litter, merely keep it in the automobile until you find a bin and then throw it out.
